Scratch Radio

privacy

Scratch Radio has no accounts and never asks for your name or email.

When you press listen, the song plays in YouTube's embedded player, loaded from youtube-nocookie.com. Once a video plays, YouTube (Google) can log your visit and store data on your device, as described in Google's privacy policy.

If you record your voice in the visualizer, the recording stays in your browser. It is never uploaded, and it's gone when you close the page.

We don't use analytics or advertising trackers.

To see how many people visit, the site keeps daily totals: visitors, page views, the country (worked out by our network provider, Cloudflare, from your connection), which site sent you, whether it's a phone or a computer, and which radios get played. Your IP address isn't stored. Each visitor is counted once a day using a scrambled code that changes every day, so visits can't be linked from one day to the next or traced back to you. No cookies are used for this.

Like most websites, the server keeps short-lived logs of requests (IP address, page, time) to keep the site running and secure.
